My God. I did. I saw Snakes On A Plane.

I'm waiting for pictures before I give the full report, but I can give this preview -- I met my friends Nick and Rebecca and Mike and Leah, plus a few other friends of Nick and Rebecca's. Nick had told us he had "gifts" -- and he and Rebecca presented each of us with a snake hand puppet, complete with a little squeezy thing inside the mouth to make it flip out a rubber tongue and hiss. Mike and Leah, meanwhile, had just flown back from a vacation in Florida that same day (they wanted to be back to see it with us), and had somehow gotten a rubber snake inside the cabin so they could take a picture of a snake on a plane. As for me, I found some packages of gummi rattlesnakes in a candy store and got a couple to share.

And even though we got to the theater an hour before the showtime, there was already a line. We were up close to the front of it, but still. And as we were standing there inline, after some minutes and after a line had formed behind us, someone else seeing the movie came up, looked at the size of the line, and saw us standing there giggling and playing with snake puppets. "Wow," I heard one of them mutter, "and I thought we were obsessed."
